WELCOME DR. AMY CARTER

Join us in welcoming Dr. Amy Carter to the PREPS board. Dr. Carter, Superintendent of Meridian Public Schools has worked in the Meridian School District since 1994. She has served as a classroom teacher, building level administrator and several district level positions including Assistant Superintendent of Accountability, Operations, Student Services/Title IX Coordinator. Dr. Carter was recently awarded Administrator of the Year by the Mississippi Alliance for Arts Education for making a difference in Arts Education in both school and community. She also received the Dan Merritt Courage Award at this year’s PREPS conference.
