This session will provide an overview of work-based learning partnership opportunities in Mississippi.

Charles “Bubba” Weir is the new director of the Mississippi Department of Education Career and Technical Education Office of Business and Industry Coordination. This office is responsible for coordinating work-based learning opportunities, externships, and business programs. Weir joined MDE in April 2017. He has over 29 years of experience in economic and human capital development and is also an entrepreneur and co-owner of several family businesses.
